Amy began dancing at age 5, training in RAD Ballet, NZAMD Jazz and Contemporary Dance, Irish, Tap and Musical Theatre. Having developed a passion for singing and musical theatre at age 10, she trained in Drama and Vocal singing techniques, gaining a significant amount of stage experience. Performance credits include; The Phantom of the Opera, Mary Poppins, Evita, Hairspray as Tracy Turnblad, Saturday Night Fever as Stephanie, Shrek the Musical, Grease and The Little Mermaid to name a few.
An experienced choreographer, she has choreographed for numerous stage shows inclusive of; Grease, Jack and the Beanstalk, Marvellous Marie, and numerous dance company productions with the Marlborough Academy of Dance.
Amy teaches NZAMD Jazz, NZAMD Contemporary and ADTA Acro Dance in Marlborough, New Zealand. She currently studying towards a Bachelor of Performing Arts with a specialization in Musical Theatre at the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts, in Christchurch, New Zealand. She has found her passion in Acro and intends to complete the ADTA qualification courses after completing her BPA at NASDA.
