Annmarie Jeanveau

Certified Competition Adjudicator: Acro Dance; Jazz; Contemporary

Annmarie grew up dancing in Airdrie Alberta where she trained and participated in countless classes, workshops and competitions, receiving numerous awards and scholarships.  She began dancing at the age of seven and has since developed her skills in Acro, Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet and Commercial dance. She has completed various exams including her Pre-Professional Acrobatic Arts level 1, Jazz and ballet. In addition to being trained in Acro Arts Master Classes, Annmarie has attended various conventions and workshops including Triple Threat, Pulse Dance, View Dance, Pure Dance, Groove Street Productions and has worked with various artists with Decidedly Jazz Danceworks.

Annmarie is currently enrolled in the Dance Performance Diploma program with Centennial College and has completed her first year.  She also holds her Acro Dance Adjudication Certification, Acrobatic Arts Certificate (Module 1) and has completed her A.D.A.P.T Certified Teacher training (Year 1). She has performed with Encorp Dance Collective, Calgary, AB, and as a student dancer with Ballet Jorgen. She has had the opportunity to dance in the opening ceremonies for Relay for Life and danced in the pre-show game for the Harlem Globetrotters. Her choreography has won awards and she is looking forward to being able to further these opportunities as she continues to grow.

Annmarie’s love of dance is extended to her students and she is always looking at continuing her progression as a teacher, a dancer and a choreographer.
