Miss Ashton resides in Wilkie, Saskatchewan, Canada, and is an instructor of a variety of genres at her hometown studio, Wilkie School of Dance. She has been teaching at WSD for a remarkable 10 years, with a strong focus on Jazz and Acro. She takes great pride in introducing acro to the students of Wilkie School of Dance, where its popularity has taken off.
In her own upbringing, Ashton received training in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. She has successfully completed ADAPT Jazz and Tap exams, as well as CDTA tap exams throughout her dance career.
Continuing her education as a teacher is a deep passion for Miss Ashton, as she strives to share her knowledge with her students. Miss Ashton is now an ADTA Premier Professional Certified instructor and is looking forward to enrolling and becoming an Advanced ADTA instructor, so she can continue to witness her students’ growth as both dancers and acrobats. Miss Ashton is so excited to see what the future holds for both herself and her students.
