Certified Competition Adjudicator: Jazz; Tap; Ballet; Lyrical; Contemporary; Acro Dance; Musical Theatre; Hip Hop
Born and raised in Calgary, AB, Chantelle has been dancing since the age of 3 and teaching for over 20 years. She has trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Acro, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre.
Chantelle has also adjudicated at various festivals in Western Canada over the last 15 years, as well as, Evaluated for in-house dance examinations & auditions. Chantelle has been a guest instructor/choreographer for various workshops and dance intensives and was also the Artistic Director of a successful, highly competitive dance studio for several years. She has also developed her own jazz syllabus.
Though Chantelle has received numerous awards & recognition, she is extremely proud of her dancers’ achievements and for her students that have gone on to professional dance and performing careers in Canada, the US and Europe!
With a love for the stage and performance, Chantelle pursued her passion into University, receiving her Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Drama, with Minors in both Dance and English.
Chantelle has also had the opportunity to work as a professional Equity Choreographer & Performer for such productions as Beauty & the Beast, High School Musical, Grease, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and more! She has also performed in and choreographed a variety of community theatre productions, such as A Chorus Line, Bye Bye Birdie!, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, The Wiz, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, among many others.
