Miss Courtney Smith resides in Unity, Saskatchewan, Canada, and is an instructor of a variety of genres at Revolution Dance in Unity, Saskatchewan, as well as Alison Lamont School of Dance in Lloydminster, Alberta. Miss Courtney has received high levels of training in genres such Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Contemporary throughout her dance career. Miss Courtney trained for both competitions and syllabus exams each year. Courtney successfully completed the Royal Academy of Dance Advanced One Ballet Exam in 2018 as well as the Canadian Dance Teachers Association Advanced Tap Exam in the same year. Miss Courtney is always eager to learn more about dance and share her knowledge with her students. Miss Courtney has completed a vast number of certifications in many different genres of dance and prides herself on continuing her learning as a teacher. Miss Courtney believes that even as a teacher there is always something new to be learned or improved upon. Miss Courtney’s future aspirations include completing her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studied with the RAD, the Licentiate Jazz exam with the CDTA, and owning her own studio. Miss Courtney is highly motivated and cannot wait for what the future holds for her and her students.
