Kelly Ann Aarts (BFA, RAD, ADTA, BATD (Ballet), BATD (Jazz), BATD (Tap), IDTA)

ADTA Certified Teacher: Junior; Intermediate; Advanced

Kelly Ann Aarts was the owner and artistic director of a successful dance studio for the past 18 years in Stratford, Ontario.  Recently Kelly has closed her studio and has returned to Ryerson University to further her education in the arts while continuing to teach dance at local dance studios in her area.  Kelly has been trained and certified by the Royal Academy of Dance, Society of Russian Ballet, British Association of Teachers of Dance, Acro Dance Teachers Assoc., The Canadian Dance Teachers Association and the International Academy of Dance Adjudicators.

Kelly Ann is a graduate of the dance program at Ryerson University and has over thirty years of experience in the dance world.   Kelly has trained in many dance forms with well-renowned master teachers in the industry.  Her students have won many overall high score awards and her award-winning choreography has been recognized by many competitions across North America.

Kelly Ann is the lead choreographer for the Stratford Community Players & St. Michael’s Catholic Secondary School.  Some of her credits include:  Guys and Dolls, Grease, Annie Get Your Gun, Seussical, Footloose, Beauty & The Beast, How To Succeed in Business, Cinderella and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.

It is her belief that education is vital to our industry and therefore continues to expand her knowledge and training each year by taking part in seminars and conventions across North America, that help her to maintain her high standards.
