Kelsey de Zwaan (ADA, AAC, First Aid & CPR)
Certified Competition Adjudicator: Acro Dance; Jazz; Lyrical; Contemporary; Stage
Kelsey is a diverse dancer, instructor and choreographer specializing in Acro Dance, Lyrical and Jazz. Her certifications include, Acro Dance Adjudicator: Certified Founding Member, and Acrobatic Arts Certified. She is currently working towards gaining her Alixa Flexibility Certificate and becoming a member of Youth Protection Advocates in Dance. Kelsey is also First Aid and CPR certified.
Kelsey has won numerous Choreographic Awards for her work with “Mirrors”. Her students have gone on to successful dance careers on multiple cruise lines. They have also completed Fine Arts Degrees, as well as joined programs such as Harbours ITP.
Kelsey has performed in numerous PRP productions such as the 2010 Paralympic Opening Ceremony, PNE Celebration Parades, 2 Grey Cup Halftime performances, White Caps opening game ceremony and a B.C. Lions Halftime Show. She has also performed as a dancer with Nickleback.
Currently, Kelsey runs the Acro Dance and Lyrical program at VanDance studios. She also adjudicates, guest teaches and choreographs across Canada.
