Kimberlee M. Yates is excited to be a part of the Acro Dance Association’s Next Level Roster website. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance Education from the University of Southern Mississippi of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and is a highly qualified and licensed teacher for the Mississippi Department of Education in Performing Arts Dance K-12 and Gifted Education K-12, with a Masters of Education Degree in Gifted Education from William Carey University of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Kimberlee is the founder, owner, head instructor, and artistic director at Above the Barre Performing Arts Academy which specializes in training dancers from the tender age of 18 months to adults in tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, acrobatics, and more. She is a an ADA Founding Member and ADA Certified Adjudicator. Aside from adjudication and training dancers, Kimberlee has an affinity for arts and ballroom dance which she incorporates into her curriculum. When her time is not occupied with the arts, she is spending time with her beautiful and fun loving family of five. Kimberlee is very excited to share her knowledge and experience with the ADA and the arts community.
