Paula’s love and passion for dance started very early on and its been an aspect of her life ever since. After many years of training and competing at various studios in Brampton and Mississauga, Paula decided it was time to focus on sharing this passion and turned her interests to dance education.
Paula believes in the importance of lifelong learning and has obtained certifications with globally respected organizations such as ADAPT, Acrobatic Arts, Alixa Flexibilty, Progressing Ballet Technique, and International Dance Teaching Standards. She has also worked with the fabulous dance faculty at York University, Toronto Dance Teachers Expo, Canadian Dance Teachers Expo, and Dance Master of America Teacher’s Training School to name but a few. Many of her former students have found success at competition, in student examinations and on the global stage as well.
As a teacher, Paula strongly believes in giving students a solid technical foundation in an environment that is safe and caring. She provides balanced classes that are both fun and challenging for students of any age, whether they be competitive or recreational, novice or experienced.
As a mother of two children herself, and a fully certified member of the Ontario College of Teachers, she brings a high level of professionalism and integrity to everything she does.
Paula is proud to be a member of the Professional Adjudicators Alliance and the Acro Dance Adjudicator Certification Program and looks forward to the sharing her passion with the next generation of dancers.
