Sabrina Lewis (ADA)
Certified Competition Adjudicator: Ballet; Pointe; Tap; Jazz; Musical Theatre; Acro Dance
Sabrina Lewis has loved dancing for many years, but her true passion is passing on her love of dance to her students. Sabrina began teaching and assisting in classes 2017. In 2018 she went to the Kansas City Ballet to receive certification to teach Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT). Upon her return, Sabrina taught PBT, tap, and ballet for multiple age levels. In addition to ballet and tap, she also teaches jazz and is familiar with the art of musical theatre. To further her dance education, Sabrina took college level dance classes for ballet technique, repertoire, movement theory, choreography, ballet variations, dance history, and French. She has taught and choreographed in three studios and worked a worship dance workshop. In 2020, Sabrina Lewis completed her certification to adjudicate acro dance.
As well as having taught a variety of dance styles, Sabrina has choreographed pieces for productions of The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky, Ellington’s Nutcracker by Duke Ellington, The Wizard of Oz, and Alice Wondering Through Wonderland for various ages, abilities, and styles.
