Sarah Skipwith (ADA, PAA, AAC1)

Certified Competition Adjudicator: Acro Dance; Ballet; Jazz; Tap; Musical Theatre; Lyrical; Contemporary

Sarah Skipwith is an enthusiastic dance instructor, creative choreographer, and certified adjudicator. Dance has been a part of her life for over 20 years. Sarah has trained extensively as a competitive dancer in many disciplines, including, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary and Musical Theatre. Sarah is an Acro Dance Adjudicator: Certified Member, a Certified Acrobatics Arts Instructor, and a member of the Professional Adjudicators Alliance. She has completed ballet exams under the Royal Academy of Dance as well as Jazz, Tap and Acro exams with BATD.

Sarah holds her Honours specialization in Kinesiology, with minors in Dance and Psychology from Western University. She also attained her Master of Arts degree in Child Psychology and Education from the University of Toronto and is a certified member with the Ontario College of Teachers. She is currently employed by the London District Catholic School board as an elementary classroom teacher where she teaches Grade 4. Sarah gets to merge her passions of teaching and dance when she works as a dance instructor and choreographer. She loves to inspire and motivate students of all ages to explore movement and dance.

She currently works at Absolute Dance, as a competitive instructor and choreographer in all disciplines. She also choreographs for various studios throughout London and the GTA. Sarah’s choreography has been recognized and awarded at many competitions throughout Ontario. With her knowledge, expertise and passion for dance, Sarah’s goal is to continue to inspire and ignite the passion of dance within her students.
